Everything you need to know before Maui. We'll keep adding to this page as the weekend gets closer.
Our room block is at The Westin Kāʻanapali Ocean Resort Villas. We highly encourage guests to book within the block or stay nearby — it’ll be the most convenient home base for the weekend. You’ll find our room block link on the Stay tab.
Island Formal — elevated resort wear, linen, and dresses made for a warm evening on the grass. We’d love to see you in bright island hues and soft pastels; think sunset tones, ocean blues, and everything blooming in between. The ceremony is on grass near the water, so plan your shoes accordingly. The rehearsal sail the night before is Bougie Boat Chic.
Fly into Kahului Airport (OGG), Maui’s main airport, about 40 minutes from Olowalu. Many of our mainland guests will find a direct flight the easiest route. Once you land, we promise the trip is more than worth it.
We won’t be providing a formal shuttle, so plan to drive or rideshare. A rental car is the easiest way to get around Maui, and Uber and Lyft are available on the island. The venue has on-site parking for those who drive.
While we love your little ones, our wedding weekend will be an adults-only celebration. Thank you for understanding — consider it a well-earned night off in paradise.
We’re so excited to celebrate with everyone we’ve invited! To be sure we can comfortably host everyone, we kindly ask that only those named on the invitation attend. There are no plus ones unless one is specifically listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding — we can’t wait to celebrate together!

September in Maui is warm and beautiful — daytime highs in the mid-80s with balmy evenings. You may want a light layer for the ocean breeze after sunset.
Plenty! Snorkel the Olowalu reef, drive the Road to Hāna, wander historic Lahaina, or catch a sunset sail. Come early or stay late and make a vacation of it — just ask us for recommendations.
